A year ago, the idea that Stareworthy Custom Children’s Books would appear in multiple holiday gift guides across local, regional, and national publications felt like a dream sitting far on the horizon. This past year has been a whirlwind of growth, learning, and “pinch me” moments, and now, seeing our little brand among such thoughtful gift recommendations feels like the warmest encouragement to keep going.
When I started Stareworthy, I was simply trying to create something meaningful for the people I love, a way to help children hold onto the moments that matter most. I never imagined that those early ideas, born out of my love for photography and storytelling, would grow into something families across the country would invite into their homes.
And this holiday season, something really beautiful happened: people noticed.
Over the past few weeks, Stareworthy has been included in several 2025 holiday gift guides. Each one feels like a milestone, and together they tell a story of how far we’ve come:
Charleston Women Magazine 2025 Holiday Guide

We were incredibly honored to be featured in Charleston Women Magazine’s 2025 Holiday Gift Guide, a publication that celebrates women and businesses across our Charleston community. This one felt especially meaningful, given how much local support has shaped Stareworthy from the beginning.
CHS Today Holiday Gift Guide

Being highlighted in CHS Today’s Holiday Gift Guide was such a full-circle moment. Charleston has embraced Stareworthy from day one, and seeing our books recognized as a thoughtful local gift for young families meant the world to us.
Lowcountry Live, ABC News 4

One of the most surreal moments this season was being showcased on Lowcountry Live on ABC News 4. It was wild to see our small business featured on a television segment! Definitely makes everything feel extra...real!!
Good Grit Magazine 2025 Holiday Gift Guide

We were also thrilled to be included in Good Grit Magazine’s Holiday Gift Guide, a regional southern publication that deeply understands the storytelling, craftsmanship, and love at the heart of southern brands.
Newsbreak

Our Lowcountry Live feature was also picked up by Newsbreak, giving Stareworthy national visibility in a way we never expected. Reaching new families across the country through this syndication was such an incredible surprise and a really meaningful milestone.
ConsumerQueen.com

And finally, seeing our books featured on ConsumerQueen.com’s holiday gift list was a moment I’ll cherish. Seeing Stareworthy reach so many families is both humbling and energizing as we look toward the year ahead!
Each feature is its own little spark of joy, but together, they form this beautiful picture of community, support, and shared belief in what we’re building.
This year was full in every sense of the word. Full of learning curves, full of new ideas, full of heart, full of moments where I felt stretched and humbled and grateful all at once. I’ve spent long days writing rhymes, designing books, talking with families, and dreaming up the next chapter for Stareworthy… and somehow, seeing all of this reflected back through these gift guide features feels like the sweetest validation.
I’m endlessly thankful— for every parent, grandparent, friend, and relative who have trusted us with their precious memories; for every child who has smiled at a page with their own face on it; and for every person who has cheered on this tiny-but-mighty dream of mine.
The holidays have a way of making us pause and reflect on the things that matter most. This season, I’m feeling deeply grateful. Grateful for growth, grateful for connection, and grateful for the opportunity to help families preserve the moments that make life so beautiful.
Here’s to the year ahead— may it be full of stories worth telling, memories worth keeping, and pages worth turning!
With so much love and appreciation,
Anna ❤️
